Hey! I'm back again! Wow, two days in a row! I had to do another one because today when I posted this layout, it was put in the Gallery Standouts thread at DST! Have to celebrate! Plus I'm moving in Dec (I hope......) so I may not have much time for a while again. Gosh I hope my life settles down once we are living with Dad and I don't have to go back and forth between houses so much!

Hey Everyone! It's been so long and I was remiss in thanking you all for voting for the By Becca team in the Battle of the Creative Teams. I didn't get back here for the 4th layout as things got really busy that week with my Dad. We didn't come in the top three any of the weeks, but we must have been close because we came in 6th overall! So thank you all for trying!

This is my layout for the weekly challenge. We had to scraplift two team members and use Yesterday, Today or Tomorrow in the title. Our team chose yesterday and I used it in a little tongue in cheek way this time. Made with Taste of Provence. I LOVE this kit! The colors are just sooooooo rich and wonderful. Hey Everyone! I have been absent quite a while! There has been a major change in my elderly Dad's life and I have been tending to his needs. It's calmed down a bit, but won't be changing much in the near future. I'm happy to have spent some time this week scrapping and finally got a layout done for Susan (thanks so much for your patience sweetie!) And of course, I made a freebie for all of you too!

The kit I used is Poppy Hill - what a beautiful kit in reds and teals and browns! Yummy colors and just right for fall!

Layout Updates and Cluster Freebie

It's been a while since I've posted and I have a lot to show you, so let's get to it!!!! All of my images are linked to DST in case you have time to leave a little love!

I've made this month with my grand nephew Garrett as the focus. This first one was made with Elements, Papers and Add-on from Heaven Sent by Raspberry Road Designs. I received a Gallery Standout mention at DST for this one!


I used this perfect kit - Blessed by Sahlin Studio - for a Christening page.

Moving on to my CT with Verena Designs, this was made with her newest kit - Sophie's Day.


And then a Disney Layout about Remy in the France pavilion and in Chefs de France. This uses Bon Appetit by Britt-ish Designs and SuzyQ Scraps


Two of my CT desigers did a collab - by Becca and Designs by Helly. A beautiful kit called Ephemeral Soul. You can get the kit at Scrap Matters or Scrapbook-Bytes. Becca also has matching Word Bits in her store. The first layout is my granddaughter at age 8.


The second one is my sister and brother when they were 3 and 4 years old.



And last night I created this layout from Oh So Shabby by Raspberry Road Designs. This is my Mom when she was 8.

New Layouts and Cluster Freebie!

Hey Everyone! I have a bunch of new layouts to show you (all images are linked for credits and comments) and I'm now CT'ing for Designs by Helly too, so let's start with hers! This layout is made with her new mini kit The Light of Morning Papers and Elements, available at Scrapbook-Bytes. It is part of a co-ordinated site offering, so go check it all out and see what kind of a full kit you can build!

Here is one from a beautiful kit released by Verena Designs also at Scrapbook-Bytes. This is one of my Mom and her Mom - how lovely is this kit for heritage pages! You can get Peach-Faced Lovebird in her shop!


And finally, here is a layout for Susan of Raspberry Road Designs. Doesn't she just rock these emphemeral type kits? Look at the rich colors of those papers! Yummy! This kit is Vineyard and as usual, she has a mini freebie in the shop.

Have you heard about By Becca? I'm on her CT, she's a pretty new designer and her store is over at Scrap Matters. I think she's awesome! She is just turning out some really beautiful kits plus she is just a super nice lady! Wedded Bliss and Cluster Freebie

Susan has released a couple of new kits since I last posted. I just created a layout with Wedded Bliss, using a picture of my Mom. This kit is so FULL of elements, I had a hard time choosing! Boy she really knows how to pack up a kit and soooooo reasonably priced too! The other new kit is April Showers and it looks darling! I also made this layout today, using a kit released at DST - only available to Gold Members. I made this for the monthly contest, first time I've entered it, although I've been a member for a year! Maybe I'll win the big $25 GC to the designer shop! Cross your fingers!

I'm really proud of this one because I customized that shadow on the brown paper so it would look like it was warped over the leaves and sticks behind it!


Then I did this one too (in a brown mood LOL) about the day Jet Blue started direct flights to Orlando - they had a party for us! And I won the 10 questions trivia game on board! Only person to get all 10 correct!

Blooming Springtime - Verena Designs

Hey Everyone!

Wow, I'm really looking forward to this weekend, it is going to get up into the high 60's/low 70's here! I really hate winter in Maine, but boy it sure does make lovely spring days all the sweeter.

I haven't posted about Verena Designs' CT, I think. I've been doing some pages for her for a few months. I really love her kits, the elements are wonderful, lots of flowers and leaves and ribbons, just what I love. So I finished up these two pages tonight. My grandchildren with their rabbit, Tux. Hmmm I think I'll ask Verena if I can do some clusters to give away - what do you think?
